CASology : Prickly

Hi there!

Succulents are so trendy right now... and I just love them too! Some of them can be quite prickly , and we want to see how this cue card will inspire you this week at CASology !

I have made soooo many cards in my life, but I have to say this one might be right there at the top of my favorite list!
It looks just as I imagined when I started off the design. And that makes me so happy šŸ˜

Altenew August inspiration challenge.

Hi there!

A new month means there's a new challenge at Altenew !

This month , Erum came up with the most beautiful inspiration, using colors from one of her
(many !) amazing cards šŸ˜

I always reach for my flower sets when I play along in this challenge, but the colors this month provides a great opportunity for a more graphic design. So... today is the day to use the stencil I fell in love with the moment I saw it!

I stenciled the background with Olive and Lagoon inks and used my craft knife to split the upper panel in 2 parts, following the pattern of the Cube builder stencil.

I glued a piece of gold glitter paper underneath the popped up panels, and added the cut and stamped sentiments. Sentiment stamped with Mocha.

I finished off the card with a couple of gold rhinestones.

Thanks for visiting !

CASology : Juicy

Hi there!

Wow! Thank you so much to all of you who celebrated with us last week! We had a fabulous party and a beautiful gallery filled with balloons!

Also a BIG thank you for all the amazing and kind comments you left on my blog!

This week we have a JUICY cue card for you at CASology!

I was thinking... juicy rainbow kiss šŸ˜ššŸ‘„ and made this card for your inspiration:

Sharing a couple of shots because every angle produces a different look !

This is another Silhouette project. The lips were printed with my laser printer using the letter 'a' from the font 'Love Romance' . I added rainbow Deco Foil from therm.o.web , using a laminator.

The 'love' sentiment ( Design ID #48437)  were cut 3 times with my cameo, layered for dimension, and adhered to the card base. To complete the card I added the little label 'you' also created in the Silhouette studio.

I wanted to add some bling/ dots, but it kept on looking like beauty spots with the lips so I just left it as is LšŸ˜†L .
